Meet Erin!
The Gut-z girl behind the words
A little about me...
Even before I was a mom, I thought that being a “good” woman meant doing it all-until my body showed me otherwise. My journey with Chronic Illness started when I was 13 and it has had many ups and downs over the past 22 years. Surgeries, procedures, doctors’ visits and tests were already tough to face back then, but now trying to mix it in with motherhood brings new challenges with it. Sometimes it feels hard to find the balance and guilt of being chronically ill can be tough, but I’ve learned so much in the last few years that has helped me cope. I’m learning how to lean into all the love I have surrounding me and how to celebrate my small wins.
This space is for anyone learning to find grace as they walk through the sometimes-muddled mess that is chronic illness.
